Idhaya Transport Services

A full-fledged Idhaya Transport service is functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places. This service is offered ensuring a hassle-free and safe transportation.

Objectives

• To provide safe journey for the customers.
• To keep up the college timing regularly.
• To keep up the stopping timing for the customers.
• To adhere regular maintenance and service of the vehicles.
• Better integration of transport and land use planning.
• To use of advanced technologies in transport management and better environmental protection in near future.
• To maximize use of sustainable transport options.
• To reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Transport rules and regulations

• The college has a proper arrangement of transport for the students for daily up and down.
• A new route can be started only when there are at least five students in a village.
• The students, who once start taking the facility of college transport, will have to continue availing themselves of this facility.
• Day scholars should board only the college bus which is allotted to them with proper dress code and wearing their ID card before boarding the bus and till getting out of the bus in the evening. They are not allowed to board any bus other than the one which is allotted to them.
• Student must remain in their seat while the bus is in motion.
• Student must keep their head, hands and arms completely inside the windows at all times.
• Maintain silence in the bus; Keep the bus clean. Do not write on or otherwise damage the seats or seat backs.
• Leave your home early enough to arrive at your bus stop at least five (5) minutes before your bus is scheduled to arrive. Do not be late - the driver cannot wait for you.
• Pay the bus fee at college.
• The bus fee paid receipt shall be produced on demand.
• The student indulged or involved in any king of indiscipline in bus or misbehaved with driver/ staff/ students, her pass may be cancelled.

Students leaving campus

Personal Reasons:

• Normally it is advised that the student is accompanied by an authorized escort while leaving the campus. For this, parents of the students shall give the names of visitors/ escorts to the wardens along with their passport size photos for preparation of escort cards.
• In case, the parents desire that their ward may be allowed to leave the campus on her own or a group of girl students during the permitted periods on holidays then they may fill the escort form and sent it to the Wardens
