FORZEA INAGURATION ACTIVITIES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015-2016

The Association activities of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FORZEA) for the academic year (2015-2016) was inaugurated on 10th September in St. Francis Seminar Hall at 9.45.AM.

The function began with the beautiful prayer song. Ms. K.Menaga Gandhi, AP/EEE welcomed the gathering. Then our traditional lamp kuthuvilakku was lightened by the prestigious dignitaries as well as enthusiastic students. Er.A. Yogarani, HoD/EEE proposed the activities to be held by the association of FOREZEA in the academic year 2015-2016. Then the introduction of the new office bearers was proposed by Ms.A.Praveena, Third year EEE. Then pinning the batch to the President by Dr. A. Saraswathi AP/EEE and the President pinned the batches for the Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-president, Joint Secretary and Joint-Treasurer.

The Chief Guest presented a Guest Lecture on “Power Electronics”

TThe Chief Guest presented a Guest Lecture on “Power Electronics”. She clearly explained about Semiconductor Devices, Converters and its applications. The session was very interesting and useful for the students to gather more information about that topic. Ms. S. Shiyamala from Final year EEE proposed the vote of thanks and the session ended with the National Anthem.
