The Women Empowerment Cell of IECW is established to carve the standard of Women, to empower girl students, to enhance understanding of issues related to women and to make the college campus a safe place for girl students. With a view to taking up women’s issues and problems, the cell aims at creating awareness of their rights and duties. It also provides a platform for women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society and to suggest ways to improve and empower themselves.
The cell also organizes awareness programs, seminars, guest lectures, bazaars and other welfare activities for the intellectual and social upliftment of the female students.The college has established Immaculate Youth Movement in the college campus to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today, to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community, to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young women.

Arranging seminars to create awareness on the economic, social, and legal rights of women.
To organize awareness programs on gender sensitization.

To serve as a platform for youth to share experiences, empower each other, advance the cause of our freedom from exploitation and build solidarity among members.
Conducting Talent show in order to provide opportunities for all the students to prove their talents and to develop their skills.
