COMPLAINTS CUM REDRESSAL

The IECW has a Students' Complaints Cum Redressal Committee as per the composition provided by the statutory/Affiliating bodies. The functions of the Committee are to look into the complaints lodged by any student through suggestion box / online and considered based on its merit. The Complaints Cum Redressal is also empowered to look into matters of harassment and any violation of ragging and disciplinary rules. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the Complaints Cum Redressal members in person also

Functions:

The objectives of the Complaints Cum Redressal are to develop a responsible and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious teaching learning atmosphere in the institute

Upholding the dignity of the College by ensuring congenial atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial Student-Student relationship and Student-teacher relationship etc.

Encouraging the Students to express their grievances / problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.

Suggestion / Complaint Box have been installed in the prominent location of the campus for posting any anonymous complaints/ suggestions, for improving the Academics / Administration in the College.

Advising all staffs to be affectionate to the students and not behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason.

The cases are attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students. The Committee formally meets to review all cases if necessary. The committee forward complaints to the higher authorities which require direction and guidance of them.

• In the case, the complainant not satisfied with the decision of the Committee, they may send their appeals to the “OMBUDSMAN”. The OMBUDSMAN will fix a date for hearing the Complainant which shall be communicated to the Institute and the aggrieved person. The Institution shall comply with the order of the ombudsman. In case of any false/frivolous Complaint, the ombudsman may order appropriate action against Complainant.
