Idhaya Engineering College for Women was established in 2001. IECW Alumni Association – OSAI (Old Students Association of Idhaya) was formed on 05.04.2008 on the third Graduation day of our College. OSAI creates and maintains a life-long connection between this institution and its alumni.
Every year during graduation day, the OSAI organize alumni induction programme for that batch by installing office bearers and hosts an alumnae meet. The office bearers such as the president, treasurer, and other members are chosen for that batch.
To facilitate the alumni who settled and working in Chennai, the OSAI – Chennai Chapter was inaugurated in 2012. It is organized regularly, where the alumni can reconnect with their families and share their experiences and reminisce the memories with IECW at Chennai itself.
As a new initiative, during this COVID’19 pandemic, batch-wise alumni interaction meets for all the batches were conducted virtually. It helps the alumni from all over the world to be connected with their family and to renew their relationship.
OSAI provides an opportunity to the alumni to act as resource persons for Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Conferences organized by IECW.
OSAI works to connect, support and build a remarkable Institute experience through a variety of events, programming and services to the alumni.
OSAI strengthen the relationship between the alumni and the management through their contribution for the development of the institution.
OSAI helps the juniors to do project work and to get the employment opportunities in their respective organizations in India and abroad.
OSAI establishes a network through social media to stay connected always and to share their life experiences.
